Coldplays' album Music of The Sphere's launched in 2021 - we created an immersive experience that was set on one of the planets in Coldplays' Universe, that was accessible in a projection igloo in East London outside of Amazon HQ.
On this project I worked as a compositor, taking the painted backgrounds and bringing them to life to make cinemagraph style animations. I also created FX animations and some additional character animations. The video was also used for the projections behind the band as they play the song live.
I created these little scout drones on a rig, so they could be replicated and customised throughout the project.
Based off of artwork by the BG painter Charlotte, I styled them in the same way, and made all the layers able to be posed in all directions so it could fly around the scene.
