Working with Blind Pig for SELF, I was tasked to design and build an animated world which would help visualise the struggles that Tre goes through living with Multiple Sclerosis.
We initially explored finding a design style, as well as creating a character design for Tre that worked in animation but also represented her bright personality.
I also created the storyboard for the animation, which demonstrated the concepts of each of the scene, as well as the overall direction and story of the animation cutaways.
To help with production timelines, I created a head rig to be reused across all the cut-away shots of Trey. It had to be versatile enough to show a range of emotions and be used in the variety of shots it was planned for.
